Peace Church provides Sunday School for children during the
Ministry of the Word portion of the adult worship service.
The children return to the worship service during Communion
and Closing.
Children are welcome to remain with their families.
The curriculum is based on the “One Room Sunday School
Concept” with age appropriate materials.
Traditional Bible stories form the foundation of the Sunday
School program.
Sunday School lessons are based on the scriptures and how
they relate to everyday life.
Children are valued members of the Peace community and are
presently using fabric from their favorite shirts to weave a
stole for our Rector which will be worn during Worship
services.
Keeping God’s children safe is at the core of the Episcopal
faith tradition.
All teachers have completed the sexual ethics training and
Peace Church follows the policies designed to make church a
safe and joyful place where happy, active children are
everyone’s treasure.
